Harvesting Potential
Africa is home to some of the finest farmers in the world, growing a diverse range of crops in some of the most hostile environments. At Cabira, we invest in our growing partners and work very closely to maximise the quality of the final product ready for export to our international clients.
Through these supply partners we have handled produce from over 250,000 smallholders and commercial farms in 21 different African countries. This wide-reaching presence means that we can be flexible with the needs of our clients, whilst supplying the best quality product throughout the whole year alongside the differing seasonalities.
Macadamia Farmer
Malawi
“Our exports have been up and down over the past 5 years because of the hand-to-mouth nature of foreign demand. Since working with Cabira however, we have been excited by the consistent business that they can offer us through their access to a range of consistent global markets.”
Farming Co-Operative
Uganda
“In order to help our small-scale farmers re-invest and grow their businesses, we need to find profitable and reliable markets for their produce. Cabira offers both whilst also being able to move large volumes and provide good communication to remove any misunderstandings and potential issues arising.”
Avocado Grower
Kenya
“The quality of our product and ultimately the reputation of our brand is something which is most important to us. After working with Cabira to open up new markets, we can really see they hold similar values and are in it for the long-term. They also have access to many different markets which means that they can take all sizes, quality and varieties we produce. This allows us to focus solely on growing and packing rather than having to find the market”.
